Saxby Technical Services (SaxbyTech) is a family business started in 2008 to build websites.
I once worked for the gas industry in the field of indoor air quality, urban air quality, greenhouse and the environment. After that, I managed an analytical laboratory for a start-up biodiesel manufacturing plant. I enjoyed myself working for these companies but all good things must come to an end. To learn to build websites after leaving industry, I went to NSW TAFE to complete a Certificate IV in IT (Websites) and a Diploma in IT (Web Development). I also have a Business Management Certificate.
The websites I write are web presences. These websites show what you do, how you can help your customers and provide obvious contact details. They can be simple static sites or dynamic database-driven sites with their own content management systems. I provide WordPress sites using Studiopress Genesis themes that have their own content management systems and all the functionality provided by a whole range of WordPress plugins. These themes are said to be some of the best in the business and can modified in appearance if required.
I also provide maintenance for existing websites, ranging from touch-ups to major re-works.
I can call on my two sons for support if necessary. They have experience in business, social media and reputation management, information technology, websites and accounting. Examples and a description of some of the work I have done can be found on the Clients page.
